Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: Al Wathba National Insurance Co. (AWNIC) purchased a 5% stake, equivalent to 25 million shares, in Al Ramz Corporation Investment and Development, according to a statement.
Al Ramz’s capital amounts to AED 549.91 million, distributed on 549.91 million shares at AED 1 par value.
Al Wathba seeks to expand its investments and diversify the sources of income, in addition to supporting its insurance operations.
